All classes graded A, B, C, D, F, P(pass), NP(no pass), G(no grade), I(incomplete). R indicates course repeated (no credit). A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0, D=1.0,F=0. G and NP are not figured into the GPA. No additional grade points for honors or advanced placement courses. Class rank not weighted.
Block schedule. Four 95-minute periods meet daily plus 20 minute Advisor period meets twice weekly. Credit awarded at end of each semester period for grades of A, B, C, D, P. Yearlong classes meeting alternating days may receive progress grades at 9 weeks, and a final grade and .5 credit per semester. Full-time students earn approximately 6 to 7 credits per year.
Class of 2009: 24.5 credits: 3 English, 3 social studies, 2 science, 2 mathematics, 1 Language Arts/Mathematics/science/social studies (credits shall be earned in any one or a combination), 1 health, 2 applied, fine arts, or second language (credits shall be earned in any one or a combination), 2 physical education, .5 career education, and 7 elective. Essential learning skills as prescribed by the Oregon Department of Education.
