Crescent Valley High School is one of two public high schools in Corvallis. With an enrollment of approximately 1100, Crescent Valley competes in the Valley League and The Oregon Music Educators Association District XI.

The Choir Program has thrived since the school opened in 1971. The outstanding direction of Gordon Tjernlund, David Pool, and now William Campbell has brought the joy and discipline of music to countless students.

Choirs from Crescent Valley have performed at The Festival of Lights, OSU athletic events, district and state contests, The ACDA Ensemble Festival, a joint Veteran’s Day program with Corvallis High School, The Community Creche, regular home concerts at Crescent Valley, and numerous other functions.

Mr. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Arizona and a Master of Arts degree from Oregon State University. Mr. Campbell is currently serving as the chair of the Oregon Music Educators Association’s eleventh district. He is in his fifth year at Crescent Valley, and his eighth year teaching. Mr. Campbell served as the choir director at Molasky Junior High School in Las Vegas, NV from 1998-2001. Mr. Campbell also performs regularly with the Corvallis Repertory Singers. Past performance credits include the OSU Chamber Choir, the UNLV Chamber Chorale, the University of Arizona Symphonic Choir, and an appearance in the back up choir for Barbra Streisand’s “Timeless” concert.
