·
Make
a time line of major events for each era (for example, 1607—1783: establishment
of Jamestown in 1607, arrival of the Puritans in 1630, etc.).
·
Choose
a dozen major events (for example, the Great Depression or the Progressive
movement). For each identify five things that helped to bring this about and
five things that resulted from this.
·
For
each war, identify causes, conflicts, and results.
·
Choose
a dozen important presidents. For each, identify five important events or
changes that occurred during his administration (for example, Andrew
Jackson—Bank War, Cherokee Removal, etc.).
·
For
each set of Key ID’s, choose the five that are most important. Drill each other
on those facts.
·
Look
at the Practice FRQ’s from the evening review sessions. For each, come up with
a brainstorm list of at least five facts, events, or examples. Write a thesis
statement. (Be sure the thesis statement
directly answers the question!)
·
You
could also look back at the questions listed on the Extra Credit Document
Analysis page and do the same.
·
Look
over the multiple-choice tests from the evening review sessions. Make sure you
can answer all correctly and explain the answers.
·
Use
the practice quizzes linked on the class website. Make sure you can answer all
correctly and explain the answers.
·
Take
notes during the in-class review sessions.
