Remember the harvest bounty of September and October? Today during lunch, your children will have the opportunity to have a taste of fall by trying pear sauce that we made with fresh Starkrimson pears at their peak of ripeness. The sauce was frozen, but now the time has come! These pears were grown by the farmers at Riverwood Orchard and Farm! Riverwood is an apple and pear orchard located in Monmouth, Oregon.
