FUNDRAISING

Scrip

WHAT IS SCRIP? Scrip is a fund-raising program sponsored by the APT. The APT sells gift certificates from several local stores to you, which you can use just like cash at their place of businesses. When you buy your necessities with your Scrip, you are helping your school earn money for activities. HOW DOES IT WORK? Adams school APT buys the gift certificates (scrip) at a discount (4 -15 %) from the store. We sell this scrip at face value to you, and you use the scrip to pay for your purchases at the store. There is no additional cost to you, just a little bit of your time. With a little planning ahead, you can really help out our school.

SCRIP GIFT CERTIFICATES are available from a list of over 52 local and national stores and restaurants and may now be purchased from our scrip table every day after school. You may also place an order by filling up this Order Form (78 KB) (or picking one up in the office) and leaving it with a check for the total amount (write checks to APT) with Nancy Zook or Kris Rondeau. We will fill the order and leave it in the office for you to be picked up at your convenience. See the Merchants List (97 KB) for a list of merchants along with the percentages of profit we receive.

Remember Scrip and its convenience for sending birthday or Christmas gifts in the mail too. From Old Navy, Borders, and Bed, Bath & Beyond to L.L. Bean, Land's End or the Olive Garden, you could be making up to 15% profit from your purchase for Adams School! So get on board and make Scrip a habit!

Albertsons

There is a free Albertsons Community Partners Card, which is available on the bulletin board in the main entry. Just show this card prior to check out, and a percentage of your purchase will be applied to Adams School. They can be used at any Albertsons. They are a great thing to send to Grandparents, family and friends who would like to help in our fund-raising efforts for Adams school.

K-Mart

Adams is participating in the K-Mart School Spirit program. You may obtain your free School Spirit card from the customer service desk at the Corvallis K-Mart. You will need to fill out the attached form and designate Adams School as your choice of school; they will have the Adams School code.

Schoolpop

Adams is registered at Schoolpop, a support program that makes your everyday purchases contribute to the school funds. Shop online or offline year-round with Schoolpop's hassle-free programs. Hundreds of name brands to choose from!

Target

Through the Take Charge of Education program, Target will donate an amount equal to 1% of Target Visa and Target Guest Card purchases made at Target and target.com, and 0.5% of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere, to the eligible K-12 school of your choice, subject to Take Charge of Education program rules. You can also click here to see Target's donations to Adams so far.

Campbell's Labels for Education

Please refer to this flyer (75 KB) for all of the eligible products for this program. Please remember to save your labels, as we can redeem them for school equipment and supplies.

Boxtops for Education

We are continuing the Boxtops for Education for this school year. Please save the green Boxtops (not the UPC code) from General Mills or Betty Crocker products and send them to school with your children. There will be collection bags in each classroom.

HP Employee Product Gift Program

The HP Employee Product Gift Program allows employees to purchase products for their schools at 25% of the retail price of the product. For example, an employee can purchase a $1,000 printer for their school for $250. Many products are available for purchase through the program, including printers, scanners, ink cartridges, monitors, etc.

Step 1: Complete the Employee Product Gift Program Form available from the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation at 757-5857.  They will send you one if you can't pick it up.

Step 2: Send the completed form with your check for 25% of the total list price of the products you are purchasing to:

Hewlett-Packard Company/Funds Matching Program Coordinator
P.O. Box 10301, MS20AH,

District Catering Service

Adams can receive 10% of any order through the District Food Service catering partnership.

School and Class Wish Lists

The APT asked that teachers identify wish lists of items parents could donate. Watch the APT Classified section of the newsletter and individual teacher newsletters for specific examples of supplies that are needed.
