Classroom Expectations:
RESPECT SELF:
-Be prepared and on time for class (homework, textbook,
3-ring notebook, pen, pencil, planner, etc.)
-Put forth your best effort and be an active
participant. Your thoughts and ideas are important!
RESPECT OTHERS:
-Respect others and their right to speak uninterrupted!
Raise your hand to speak.
-Respect "Our Human Rights."
-Use proper language.
-Follow the teacher's direction of quiet study, group work,
and teacher directed cues.
RESPECT PROPERTY:
-Respect other people's property, school property and help
keep the classroom neat and clean.
-No food or drink in the classroom.
-Recycle!
CONSEQUENCES:
Verbal warning
Modification: this could be a seat change, time out in the hallway, or a discussion with Ms. Benning.

Referral and parent contact
These are also up to the discretion of Ms. Benning or a substitute. The consequence will be determined by the nature or frequency of the broken expectation.
