Part 1: Basketball Class Information

Part 2: Basketball Application

A. Watch at least one quarter of a basketball game. If possible, have someone who knows

basketball watch with you. Answer the following questions about the quarter you watched. Take notes as you watch so you don't forget any important plays.

            14. Write three things you saw happen that you learned from in class.

            15. Write three things you saw happen that you didn't learn from in class.

            16.  Write the names of the three players that in your mind played the best.

            17.  Write three violations you saw happen and what the result was.

            18. Write three fouls you saw happen and what the result was.

            19. Count how many times you see a player set a screen.

            20. Count how many times you see a player do a pick and roll.

            21. Write any special things that you saw happen.

10.  Is telling rumors about someone bullying?

11.  What should you do if you hear rumors?

12.  How do you tell a bullying to stop, what are the steps you should go through?

13.  Is managing your emotions and being assertive not aggressive important?

14.    Is checking to make sure it’s safe before refusing important?
