Amy Harris, a former C.V. jumper, cleared 12 feet on Saturday (1/29/05)  which ties her for 4th in the nation in the NCAA Div. II

Rule of the Year
 Rule 7-4 Article 21 says "It shall not count as a
trial if a competitor's pole is broken during an attempt."
