WHOLE PROJECT DUE: January 12th, 2010

You are to do a project that will consist of valuable information about Bullying and Harassment. You will be presenting your project to a 7th and 8th grade student of Mr. Gable’s choice.  This project is not a group project but done by you.                  

Topics for your presentation need to address important issues you’ve learned over the past several weeks dealing with Bullying and Harassment.  These issues or concerns should be what you feel is the most important factors that you’d like to share with the older students. 

Format or project ideas could be:

Topics or ideas to consider:

1.      Why do people bully?

2.      What are bullies trying take from you when they bully?

3.      What are by-standers and why do they have so much power?

4.      Who is responsible for stopping bullying and why?

5.      What are the three “R”’s of Bullying

6.      What can happen to people if they continually get bullied?

7.      What are some examples of bullying?

8.      How is the bullying at this school and why is it like that?

9.      Can you bully someone without knowing you’re doing it?

10.    Is telling rumors about someone bullying?

11.    What should you do if you hear rumors?

12.    How do you tell a bully to stop, what are the steps you should go through?

13.    Is managing your emotions and being assertive not aggressive important?

14.    Is checking to make sure it’s safe before refusing important?
