Coach showing technique, "don't curl that bottom wrist, leads to poor plant."

What a great day and awesome kids!  We had 45 total at the camp this year.

Different Drills we do at camp

Sand Jumping working on "rowing" the pole forward.

Swing Ups on the high jump pit working on getting the hips up.

WOW, look at that pole bend before the box starts to slide - our Sliding Box Drill.

Cool help on the Three Step Drill.  The drill is meant for the jumper to get an early strong plant.  Nice help from the instructors.

Pole Runs are so important.  You can never do enough.  Get some speed and I'll make you a great jumper!  Keep that back hand in your front pocket though...

Individualized help is the key, thanks to all my high school jumpers that worked as instructors.

This coach assisted Rock Back Drill on the left, leads us to Pop-Ups as demonstrated here on the right by Jessie - number 1 vaulter at USC in California.

And finally, cross bar work, what it's all about.  Way to go and keep those hips up.

Nice work guys, we even have spectators showing up once in a while.

And yes, having FUN!
