1940-1949

The Spartans

1941- Spartan field gets lights. CHS wins Willamette valley league title. 

1945- First year of the big six league. the big six league consists of Corvallis, Bend, Springfield, Eugene, Salem and Albany.

1949- Five students paint "beat Albany50-0" on the fence of the Albany grandstands several nights prior to the season ending Albany game. As a result, CHS forced to forfeit its regular season victories.
