The CHS Baseball Tradition
Over the years, the Corvallis High School Baseball program has upheld a strong tradition of excellent athleticism and sportsmanship. CHS has taken home two Oregon State Athletic Association titles, in both 1971 and 1986. The 1971 team included current CHS faculty members Gary Beck and Scott Lasswell, as well as Oregon State University football coach Mike Riley. Although the Spartans have not yet taken home a title in the '90's, this year's team looks promising and should continue to uphold the reputation of their predecessors.
