What are some of the challenges working with girls?
crying (me or the girls?!), many girls are "newcomers" and need quite a bit of initial help...this can be fun -- seeing them improve, getting the girls to practice especially in the off-season. Most good golfers play throughout the year.
What is the best score for 18 that your girls have ever gotten?
individual -- 77
team -- 346 (4th at the state tournament!)
What else have you coached?
I have coached Football head and assistant (state champions in '78 -- 13 wins 0 losses), Basketball assistant (District Champions), Track head coach, Bowling, one year of baseball!
What's one thing that you want to say to the girls you are coaching this year?
Enjoy the game, do your best, there are more important things in life than your golf score
