Judy Storie has been coaching 26 years. During the 2002-2003 swim season she was nominated for coach of the year by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA), and also by the National Federation of High Schools. She has been the Valley League coach of the year for 2002 and 2003. Her philosophy is to measure success by P.R.'s (personal records) rather than by meet scores. She would rather improve times and lose a meet than win a meet and not have anyone improve. She encourages everyone to come out for swimming and give it a try.
