The close of the 1926 track season marked the end of a most
successful
year for Coach Bleamaster and his team the boys succeeded in
taking
second place in the state meet, and in winning three out of the
five sched-
ule meets.
"Chet" Johnson, captain, was a sure
point-winner, and a number of
others also piled up points by taking first place in their
events.
An outstanding feature of the season was the "Jumping
Genius," Paul
Oschner, who took first place in the high hurdles in the Eugene
meet.
