Algebra/Geometry 2
- Prerequisites: Skills from Alg/Geo 1 (A, B, or C grade) and Teacher Recommendation
- Credits: 2 Math
Students will explore topics including: solving linear systems, matrices, quadratic equations, and exponential models. Geometric topics include: types of reasoning and proof, polygons and their properties, congruence and similarity postulates and theorems. Work with probability and statistical methods continues from Alg/Geo 1. Many real-world applications are included throughout. Math work samples at level 4 will be offered. Calculator required: Graphing.
