Introduction

The Antarctica Project started in the fall of 2001 as a data analysis project for high school students for Earth and Space Research. Through a graduate student at Oregon State University, several students at Corvallis High School began to download archived data collected at various Antarctic stations for analysis in the mathematics program MatLab.

Since then the project has grown to include other research about Antarctica, including this webpage, as outreach to all community members about the continent.
