The following chapters are based upon those found in Patrick H. Canan's book a beginner's guide to Classical Physics(© 1982). Mr. Canan's text has been used within his physics classes for several years.
The completed chapters contain dozens of problems, each with fully explained answers. Many questions include a visual image of what the question is referring to. Some chapters also include links to Java applets to further illustrate important concepts. To differentiate between those chapters that are complete and those that are still a work in progress, we have included a "book" image in front of the chapter number. Feel free to explore those chapters that are not finished, as they still provide valuable information.
