Africa is drowning. Drowning in the the tides of civil war, hunger, and filth. A breakdown of the situation is this: We say we will help them, we start organizations and programs. We have fundraisers, bake sales, community drives and taxes. The money rolls in, flowing into the hands of good intentions. Good intentions sends the money over to Africa, a community in need of help. The money comes into the hands of corrupted drug lords. Starving civilians in corrugated walled shacks riot, stealing money from richer to buy weapons, these people, mostly young rebels, take over the slums shooting innocents in the intense crossfire. Few police officers patrol the streets, and the ones that do have little power over the tides of change in West Africa. We try to help, that is good, but good intentions never helped anyone by itself. This a site devoted to the truth, as best as we can tell.
