This class is designed for ninth-grade students who have
been matched to an upper-class mentor at Corvallis High School through the
YOUTH program. Focus will be on relationship building, accentuate personal
strengths, individual leadership abilities and communication skills. There
will be a community service component and an opportunity for mentored study
hall. This class can take the place of supervised study hall and will be
monitored and graded. Students will be provided transitional services into
the high school environment.
