Winter sports dessert

Winter sports dessert

Be sure to mark your calendar for the Winter Sports Dessert on Tuesday, March 11, at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. This event, which is sponsored by the school and the Spartan Shield Booster Club, is to recognize the students who have participated in team sports during winter season. Family and friends are invited to attend. Special presentations will be made to senior athletes. The potluck dessert will be after the awards ceremony. Please bring a dessert to share (leave it in the cafeteria before the program begins).  [home] [top]

Spring sports pictures: will be taken during practice on Tuesday, March 11. Hise Studio will be taking team and individual photos. Athletes do not need to bring money for their professional order. Proofs will be mailed to each athlete at their home and orders can be made after seeing the picture. Anyone wanting to order Booster Buttons needs to fill out the half sheet and pay March 11 during the time of pictures. Checks can be made out to CHS Booster Club. The cost of each Booster Button is $3.00. This is a great way to support Booster Club and your athlete in this "fun" raiser. Please have order forms filled out before picture day. Coaches will be giving order forms to athletes during practice.  [home] [top]

This applies to those students who do not have a physical on file from last year. If you have any questions, please ask now. Don’t wait until the last minute!  [home] [top]

Are you tired of hearing “I’m bored, there’s nothing to do!” If your child is in kindergarten through sixth grade, you can add some excitement to their spring break by signing them up for the sixth annual Spartan Spring Break Sports Camp. Our goal is to provide 2½ hours of physical activity in the form of floor hockey, whiffle ball, basketball, soccer, scooter board relays, various tag games, parachutes, wrestling, 2-square and 4-square. (Our real goal is to physically burn the kids out.) The campers will be grouped by age first, and adjustments will be made according to ability. Supervision is provided by the CHS Track and Field coaching staff and athletes. All proceeds will go to the CHS Track and Field program.

Please send your child in comfortable clothes, proper gym shoes, and with a water bottle and snack. If your child has any special needs or is on medication, please let us know. We provide fruit snacks or popsicles each day.
