Concerned about no longer getting the EARLY BIRD RATE of $75 to play? (this includes continental breakfast & a BBQ Lunch)  YOU'RE IN LUCK! We have extended the EARLY BIRD SIGN-UP to AUGUST 15th. (We've had a number of people gone on summer vacations etc. and we really do want you to join in the fun.)

So don't put it off, we will honor the EARLY BIRD Rate until AUGUST 15th ( but THIS deadline will stay firm)

8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. GOLF TOURNAMENT- Shotgun Start - 4 person Scramble format (Continental Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. & Lunch is at noon ) @ Trysting Tree Golf Club (Located on Hwy 34 on your right 1/4 mile before you cross the Harrison Street Bridge coming into Corvallis. Turn Right on Electric Avenue and follow signs.). Hosts: Cindy Mack Beach and John & Diana Reynolds

2:45-3:45 p.m. CHS SCHOOL TOUR @ The New Corvallis High School Building at 1400 NW Buchanan. Meet at front doors on the Buchanan Street side of school. Hosts: Steve Olson* and Sue Elliott May *Steve was part of the design team for the new CHS building.

2:40-3:40 p.m. CHS BAND JAM SESSION & REHEARSAL @ CHS - Meet @ The Band Room (across from the auditorium). 4-5 p.m. OSU FOOTBALL PRACTICE & FACILITIES TOUR - Meet Gary Beck @ The Valley Football Center (This is the building attached to the west side of Reser Stadium--opposite the Jumbo-tron side of the stadium & across the parking lot from the Truax Center.) You may park in any of these reserved parking spaces since OSU is not officially back in session. Hosts: Gary Beck and Ken Swygard

6-11 p.m. MAIN REUNION DINNER-PARTY-DANCE @ The Corvallis Country Club at 1850 SW Country Club Drive.
Directions: Drive west on Philomath Blvd. Left on 35th Street past Adams Elementary School. Up the hill and at the second curve take an immediate right into the Corvallis Country Club parking lot. Hosts: CHS 1971 40th Reunion Planning Committee

11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. OSU FOOTBALL TAILGATER @ THE HILTON GARDEN INN Hosts: Jim Lomax and Chris Boedtker Gerding
Food & Drinks will be available for purchase. (This tailgater is not a BYOB.)
The Hilton Garden Inn is located @ 2500 Western Blvd. adjacent to Reser Stadium.


1 p.m. OSU vs. SACRAMENTO STATE Football Game Hosts: Mike Riley, Gary Beck and Jay Locey
PARKING: Park FREE at the Benton County Fairgrounds out on 53rd Street.
Pay $2 round-trip to use the Shuttle Service to the game. Shuttle will drop you off across from the Truax Practice Facility. Same location for the return trip. Shuttle service starts at 10 a.m. and ends one hour after the game ends.

HANDICAPPED PARKING: There are a limited # of handicapped spots in the Parking Structure across from Gill Coliseum for $10 and in the Reser Parking Lot for $20. (You will need to get there early.)

GENERAL PARKING available around the area runs about $10-$15.

Seat Location for our CHS Class of 1971 Block of Tickets: We are located in the South End Zone on the Jumbo-tron side of the stadium. We're all in Section 25 starting with rows 29-32 Seats 1-????

Noon-8 p.m. WATCH GAME AT JOHN LARSEN'S PLACE Hosts: Chris Chapman and John Larsen
John Larsen's home is located at 3380 NW Norwood Drive (off of Circle Blvd) in Corvallis.

Bring Your Own Beverage and a Snack to share. An extra folding chair or two if you can.

4:30-8 p.m. AFTER-GAME TAILGATER........Continues at John's house (See info above.)

7:30-10:30 p.m. SPECIAL FEATURED PERFORMANCE by PAUL COTTON BAND – Lead Singer, Songwriter, and Lead Guitarist from the Country Rock band POCO who were originally Buffalo Springfield (...names from the past). Listen to music of this Gold and Platinum recording artist from the 70's, and 80's & 90’s @ Squirrels Tavern at the corner of 2nd Street & Monroe in downtown Corvallis. Paul just happens to be married to our own Caroline Ford Cotton (if you hadn't made the connection yet).

8-9 a.m. PRAYER CIRCLE/SERVICE @ The Evangelical Church located at 1525 NW Kings Blvd (near Garfield Ave) Hosts: Mike Lehnherr/Ken Swygard /Yvonne Badders Swift and Sue Elliott May

8-11 p.m. ENCORE PERFORMANCE of "The Ingredients Unknown" NOW SCHEDULED for SUNDAY September 4th* @ The Elk's Lodge at the corner of 9th Street & Grant Avenue $5 Cover Charge.
