At the risk of sounding like my parents, “Wow does time go fast”.  Attached you will find a form in Excel to complete for the reunion.   We would appreciate you filling out the form--even if you are UNABLE to attend.  The cost for attending the reunion will be $30 per person or $50 per couple RSVP’s can be done via email, but please mail payment for attendance with checks payable to “CHS Class of ’80 Reunion” to:  Monies should be sent to the address below by: July 1, 2005

  1. To find classmates—attached is the most current contact information we have on our classmates.  If you have updated contact information, please get that information to us right away.  The file has been sorted alphabetically by last name/maiden name and the highlighted names are the ones we either need email or mailing addresses for.  If for some reason, someone isn’t on the list, please advise us immediately.
  2. Assist with record keeping, set-up or clean-up committee for any of the events, decoration committee for the dinner, or possibly welcome table for the dinner (pass out name badges).....  Please contact Renee or Bill.

Friday July 22, 2005:

Murphy’s Tavern, South Corvallis 6pm – whenever. 

As with our class reunion tradition, we gather at Murphy’s, which for those of you who are unaware, has become a family-type restaurant, though the area we have reserved is part of the bar, with pool tables etc.  This will be a time of “catching up” for all of us.

 


Saturday July 23, 2005:
TOUR of NEW CHS building.  Saturday morning 11am,  everyone interested,
meet in front of new school main entrance 10:45am.

 

As you may know, our school will be torn down in the coming year.  If you visit the CHS Website, you can view photos of the new school http://www2.corvallis.k12.or.us/chs/    Sources have shared with us that the new school is completing 5 months ahead of schedule and appears the 2005 School Year will begin in the new building. 

 

Avery Park Family Potluck—Maple Grove Shelter: 1pm. 

This shelter is located on the West end of Avery Park.  Please bring a potluck item to share and a beverage of your choice, plates and utensils will be provided. 

 

Dinner @ the Elks Lodge in CorvallisRegistration:  Welcome table opens @ 6:00 pm

 

This event is for CHS alumni, spouses, and/or guest.  We have arranged 2 VERY SPECIAL guests as speakers to our class.  You won't want to miss this!    We will have music after dinner, so plan to stay and have fun as late as you please (well, I believe there are rules…ha ha)   Music will be comprised of a local band including one of our classmates, Scott Smith.  The band is called The Underground and for those of you who would like to join in by bringing an instrument to play with them, have been welcomed to do so.  Please contact Scott @ dscott@peak.org if you are interested in ‘jamming’.
