Corvallis High School Class of 1986 20th Class Reunion July 7th-9th, 2006
“I can’t believe it has been 20 years!” classmates have stated. Well, it has been 20 years, and it is time to celebrate! The following is a description of the weekend’s activities and events. Please take some time to look it over and respond, using the form provided. Each event requires the number of people who will be attending, so your response, along with payment, is necessary no later than June 1st. This is going to be fun!!!! We hope to see you all there!
Friday, July 7th, 8:00-10:00pm Meet and greet at Sahalie’s Wine Cellar. This is a no host event. Sahalie’s is asking for an approximate number of people attending in order to provide enough staff for the evening. There is no cover charge for this event.
Saturday, July 8th, 12:00-1:00pm Meet at CHS for a tour of the new facility. Cost is free.
Saturday, July 8th, 1:30-4:00pm Family “finger food” potluck at Willamette Park. Bring the entire family and a finger food to share. Finger foods include, but not limited to, veggies, salads, mini sandwiches, chips, hand held desserts, etc. There will not be a main course provided, however, utensils and non alcoholic beverages will be provided. You may bring your own alcohol if you wish. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on. There is a play structure and we hope to provide games for the children. Last names A-P please bring anything other than a dessert. Q-Z please bring a dessert. Cost is $5 per person, or $10 per family.
Saturday, July 8th, 7:00-11:00pm-The Main Event! Parent’s night at the casino. (LaSalle Stewart Center) This exciting event includes gambling, music, heavy appetizers, prizes and some fun surprises! There will be a no host bar. You will be provided with casino chips at the beginning of the night to use throughout the evening. There will be no money exchanged for the casino. At the end of the night, those with the most amount of chips will receive prizes! A nonrefundable cost of $55 per person is required. There is no special dress code for this event however we encourage you to make it as fun as you want!
Sunday, July 9th, 11:00am-12:30pm Family fun at Osborn Aquatic Center. Bring the entire family to Otter Beach, the outdoor pool, for some fun in the sun! Family members still living in the area are also welcome, but must pay the fee as well. Otter Beach offers slides, a channel pool, tire swing, and other water toys, for people of all ages. There is no food provided, but you are welcome to bring a picnic or snacks. Alcohol is not allowed. Osborn is asking for a total number of actual people who will be swimming in order to provide the correct number of Life guards. If you are not planning on swimming but your children are, please include only the number of people in your family that you expect to be in the pool. Cost is $5 per person or $10 per family.
