Studying for a Math Test means re-working problems, not reading problems. 
Checklist to prepare for a test:
 Re-work quizzes that pertain to this material.   Be sure to work problems that you answered incorrectly AND correctly.

Re-work the examples from your notes and index cards.

Re-work the homework.  Take note of the written directions and your responses. Were there problems that you didn't do because you didn't understand? Try to do them now.

 Review the textbook for the material covered.  Did you pay special attention to boldface type, definitions, etc.?

 Are there problem areas that you need to see Ms. Diaz or a tutor about? Jot down specific questions to ask.
