During the summer of 2000 I traveled with my youth group to Romania to take part in a conference with Hungarian youth. We stayed in a part of Romania know as Transylvania. We spent lots of time with kids our age sharing our culture and learning about theirs. Below are a couple photos from the trip.

This is the airplane that we spent 13 hours on traveling from Chicago to Montreal to Bucharest the capital of Romania	This is the view from 33,000 feet over the Atlantic ocean as the sun is coming up.	This is the main road in the village we stayed in while attending our youth conference.	The fortress in the far ground is where we stayed for a week. This hill looks down upon the whole village.

All the kids stayed up in the fortress while the adults stayed down in a dormitory.	This is an apartment building that we saw. This was a common look for these types of buildings.

During the spring break of 2001 my family and I traveled to Hawaii. I had never been to Hawaii before and I really enjoyed it. It was nice to get away from the rain and cold for a week and enjoy 85 degree days, beautiful beaches, nice people, and relaxation.
