![]() You've stumbled upon the web domain of Phil Allen. Given, this whole site is the product of a Multimedia Technology assignment. For those who are interested, I am a Sophomore at Corvallis High School in Oregon. I like it here. Nice people and a good community... much nicer than a bustling city scene. As you can probably tell by the numerous banners and groovy text, I enjoy applying some newly discovered Photoshop skills to help make this page seem more awesome. To start things off right, have yourself a taste of one awesome collage:
Pretty awesome, eh? Let me give you a quick run down... The "Pink Floyd: The Wall" logo is pretty straight forward. It's a most excellent movie, and I encourage anyone and everyone reading this to see it. You won't be let down. Besides, it's got awesome Pink Floyd music, so it can't possibly be bad, eh? Heh. Second, Those four dudes standing underneath the logo. Those four are the members of the incredible rock group System of a Down, my personal favorite band. Between they're powerful message, and they're love for and ability to create amazing music, they form an impressive group. Thirdly: The guitars. The one on the left is the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus. I put this guitar here as I myself own one, and I also have a deep interest in playing guitar. It's an amazing instrument, and I love playing it. The guitar on the right is an Epiphone Cortez. I own a '65 Cortez, and it resembles the guitar pictured, but it's not exactly the same. The CD circling the Les Paul resembles my love for digital music, and how amazingly well it's allowed us to tote around and listen to thousands of songs without weighing a pound. Impressive, no? The Peace Sign is self explanatory. I'm a firm believer in peace, and think that people should, in the immortalized words of John Lennon, "Give Peace a Chance." The three on the right of the Cortez are the lead characters from my favorite movie, Garden State. The methods used in that film to portray a the life of a simple New Jersey guy is amazing, and it's a must see.
So there's a rundown of some stuff I think is awesome. Give the other pages a look if your interested... That's what they're there for :).
