SPARTAN SENIOR INFORMATION

Class of 2009

 

GRADUATION INFORMATION:

 *May 21st—seniors will pick their walking partners- meet in big gym for advisor

*May 21st—senior potluck in the cafeteria at 6:00- bring your own dishes and cups and silverware and the dish you are assigned

*June 2nd- senior awards

*June 5th- seniors last day!  Go to morning classes and meet in the big gym at 1:30 for first graduation practice.  Pick up caps and gowns after practice in the cafeteria.  You must have a cap and gown to participate.  See Mrs. Gulledge if you have questions or concerns.  If you have not turned in your senior check out paper, your cap and gown will be with held until you are cleared.  Pay attention to your school work.  Get it all turned in before noon on the 5th or your diploma will be pulled.

*June 8th- graduation practice at Gill at 10:00-if you are not there, we will assume that you are not going to go through the line and will pull your diploma.

*June 8th- GRADUATION!!  Be at Gill by 6:45 to line up

 Seating at graduation is open to all.  The seating on the west side of the graduates is reserved for the handicapped and seniors who are unable to climb stairs or to walk a distance.  The seating on the east side of the graduates is reserved for CHS staff and their families.

Graduation begins at 7:30.  Please NO noise makers or balloons.  There is a large charge to retrieve balloons from the rafters.

ALL NIGHT PARTy:
  (11pm June 8 – 5:30 am June 9)

 *Tickets- Current price is $20 before Spring Break. After Spring Break $25.00 and $30.00 at the door.  See Mrs. Gulledge to purchase tickets.  Students will receive their tickets at graduation practice at Gill on the 8th.

*Parent volunteers are still needed.

*There is a waiver which needs to be signed if students want to use the climbing wall

*You will receive a letter explain the collage and where to turn it in.  You may begin bringing in ‘baby pictures’ for the slide show starting in March.  E-mail them to janet.walker@corvallis.k12.or.us or take them to the activities office anytime after March 4th.
