Start date for 2010-11 school year
The school district’s Calendar Committee will be looking at the possibility of starting the 2010-11 school year before Labor Day since the holiday falls so late in the month next year. Classes could begin on Tuesday, Aug. 31 or Wednesday, Sept. 1.

The committee will be gathering input from staff and parents before it makes its recommendation to the school board.

Pinnacle Passwords:  Students were given their passwords in Adviser; grades 10-12 on the first day of school, grade 9 the following Monday.  Parent passwords have been mailed home.  For more information, or to access Pinnacle, use the "Check Grades" button on the left side of this page.

Pinnacle Attendance Legend:  In order to support the CVHS block schedule, the ESD has assigned different values to our periods.  These values can be confusing, and we are working toward a solution.  In the meantime, please use this legend to determine which period is represented in the attendance screen of the PIV.   Periods beginning with an M meet M/W and odd periods on Friday.  Periods beginning with a T meet T/Th and even periods on Friday.  Periods without a letter prefix meet every day.

M1 - period 1     T1 - period 2     01 - A Block (periods 1 & 2)
M3 - period 3     T3 - period 4     03 - B block (periods 3 & 4)
M5 - period 5     T5 - period 6     05 - C block (periods 5 & 6)
