Transfer Timeline:
Grades 1-12 requests for transfer for the 2008-09 school year may be entered November 7, 2007 through 5:00 p.m. on January 18, 2008.
Students living in attendance areas affected by the recently adopted boundary change and who attend their neighborhood school will be asked which school they choose for 2008-09. To have this choice, they must respond no later than January 3, 2008.
By February 2, 2007, the lottery will be drawn for situations where there are more requests than openings. Parents will be notified immediately by email and for those without email, letters will be mailed on the following work day.
No later than February 12, 2007, parents need to confirm that they accept the opening by responding to the email and indicating that they accept.
Students on the waiting list will be contacted if, and when, there are any openings at the school requested.
Students requesting a transfer after January 18, 2008 will be added to the bottom of any waiting list, even if they would have received a priority weighting if they applied during the transfer window.
