Above:  Mrs. Caster's CHS German students attend their annual Rhinelander Trip.  This year the students returned and did presentations for the rest of their class including translating their presentations in both German and English for the rest of the school to see in their commons.  Jan. 2009.


Above:  Mrs. Brabish's CHS Drama students put on a Improv and "Lunch box" theatre productions during lunch time.  All were invited to attend free of charge.   Nov. 2008

Above:  Ms. Gunter's/Hackethorn's CHS Freshman Foods created graham cracker houses for a local nursing home this Holiday Season.  Students had planned to take them over and visit with the residents but were unable to due to inclement weather and snow days.  Dec. 2008.

Above: Ms Myers Crescent Valley French Students we caroling to local area nursing homes this Holiday Season.  The sang both French and English songs, as well as visited with the residents.  Dec. 2008.

Above:  Mr. Williams Health students of CHS put on a Health Fair during their off blocks to discuss various issues in Health with the rest of the school.  The above project discussed the effects of energy drinks and caffeine on the body.  Jan. 2009.


Above: Ms. Gabonay's CHS and Mrs. Sumners Linus Pauling Math class got together to play the math games that Ms. Gabonay's students created.  Jan. 2009.
Above: Mrs. Macklem's CHS science class created Rune Goldberg machines incorporating what they learned in class.  The students then explained and demonstrated to anyone that came into class to view them.
Above: Students from CV, CHS, and Franklin Middle School worked with Master's Students of OSU to develop and run physical activity lesson plans for the *IMPACT program of OSU. 
*IMPACT is a OSU run physical activity program that help individuals age 2-21 with developmental disabilities become more physically active.

Above: CHS Lifeskills and Leadership students work together to revive the Community Outreach community garden.  This was the second of three Semester of Service events.

Above: CV, CHS, and Franklin students worked together doing trail maintenance at McDonald Forest.

Above: Intro to Mythology students and their teacher Beth Russell, worked to remove ivy that was killing an oak tree at Raindance Ranch.  This project was a basis for the students who later showcased Environmental Education through Art at the Corvallis Public Library.  The schools that participated were Crescent Valley, Lincoln Environmental School, and Muddy Creek Charter School.

Above: Students from Corvallis High School present their Peacejam Projects to the Nobel Laureate Shirin Ebadi.  This took place during the Regional Peacejam Conference held at Oregon State on the 25th and 26th of April.
