Smart Board 1 & 2
Guide: Becky Kiersky

This session is designed for people with little or no experience with the SMART Board. It will include basic introduction to the SMART Board features most useful in the classroom. Participants will learn to open the SMART Board notebook, work with the toolbars, explore and use items in the gallery collection, create a personalized folder of useful everyday items and learn how to bring clips from outside sources to the notebook.

Additional focus will include creating lessons that may include incorporating online textbook materials, searching out Internet ideas and Internet lessons and creating links within your lesson to other files, sites & documents. You will create a filing system in which to save your work.  Ink Aware applications will also be explored.

The wireless AirLiner slate will be demonstrated.
