About Our Program
Healthy eating patterns and increased physical activity are essential for students to achieve their academic potential, full physical and mental growth, and lifelong health and well-being. To help ensure students possess the knowledge and skills necessary to make healthy choices for a lifetime, the Corvallis School District has adopted a Wellness/Nutrition Policy and Administrative Regulations necessary to implement the goals of this policy throughout the district.
What's New?
The school district has also created a district wellness council to assist the superintendent in the implementation and future revisions of the Local Wellness/Nutrition Program. The council also will serve as a resource to school sites for implementing such policies.
Meetings will take place every other month beginning in September, and will usually be held on the first Thursday of those months. For more meeting information click here.
