Kevin Bogatin joined the Corvallis School District staff on July 1, 2010.
He came to the district after serving seven years in the Lebanon School District, just 20 miles east of Corvallis. Kevin served as principal of Green Acres Elementary School for six years and as associate principal at Lebanon High School for one year prior to accepting the position as assistant superintendent in Corvallis.
Previously, he was the principal of a private K-8 school in Lake Oswego (Ore.) and has five years’ teaching experience at elementary schools in Chandler, Ariz. and Beaverton (Ore.).
Kevin graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1995 with a bachelor of arts in elementary education and received a master’s degree in education administration from the University of Phoenix in 2000. He completed the continuing administrative licensure program at the University of Oregon in 2009.
Away from the office, Kevin enjoys fly fishing, camping, weight training, playing the guitar and officiating at high school and college basketball games.
He and his wife of nearly 21 years, Cameo, have two children – Hannah, a high school sophomore, and Eli, who is in the fourth grade.
