2011-12 Medical Plans: Classified Staff

Retirees are eligible to enroll in the same medical insurance plans offered to current employees, at the rates shown on the "Rate and Authorization Form," above. Selections must be declared annually during "open enrollment" by completing and returning the "Rate and Authorization Form" to the Benefits Office. Plans may also be updated outside of the open enrollment period whenever an employee experiences a "qualified life event" (i.e. marriage, divorce, new child/dependent, domestic partnership, etc.).


2011-12 Supplemental Insurance: Dental, Vision

Retirees are eligible to continue enrollment in dental/vision plans offered to current employees, at the rate shown on the "Rate and Authorization Form." Once a retiree "opts out" of the dental/vision plan, it may not be added back in subsequent years.

Retirees are not eligible for participation in the district's group plans for life insurance, long term disability (LTD) insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D), or programs offered through the employee assistance plan (EAP).
