Annual Required Training for All Employees (SafeSchools)
All district employees are required to review materials regarding Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Prevention, Child Abuse Identification and Intervention, Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, and Sexual Conduct: Staff to Student.
Click here to be directed to the SafeSchools website to complete these mandatory trainings.
Health Training Opportunities
The district offers CPR/AED and First Aid training free of charge to employees and all employees are encouraged to attend. Watch your email for details!
Additionally, the district requires employees in certain job classifications to hold additional certifications to best serve the needs of our students. Contact your supervisor if you have any questions related to your job duties.
Safety Training Opportunities
Employees in specific job classes may also be required to attend additional safety-related trainings, covering topics such as playground safety, asbestos awareness, fire-extinguisher use, forklift safety, and food handling/safety. Again, contact your supervisor or a member of your facility's safety committee for more information.
We're always looking for suggestions to improve our training programs - if you have an idea or a need, please call or email us!
