While a goal of the Risk Management Department is to minimize the potential for employees to be injured on the job, accidents do happen and injuries do occur. In those instances, it is important to the district that employees are able to return to their normal duties as soon as possible.
A critical first step not only in returning an injured employee back to work, but also in preventing workplace injuries, is to have immediate and full knowledge of the injury incident. Therefore, it is imperative that employees report all injuries (and near-misses) to their supervisor as soon as possible.
Please review the following forms for further information and contact Risk Management if you have any general questions or to discuss a specific incident.
