Opportunities For Students

Did you know that there are many opportunities for TAG children to participate in fast paced, enriched learning programs in Oregon?  There are courses both on and off of university campuses.  Here are a few of them!

Oregon State University

OSU is hosting a free half-day science workshop for Middle School girls called Discovering the Scientist Within.
This event will be held on Oregon State University's campus in Corvallis, Oregon on Saturday, March 7 from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
The event is designed to nurture girls interest in the sciences by providing a program of hands-on activities paired with positive adult women scientist role models. Girls in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and their parents are provided the opportunity to meet successful women pursuing a diversity of careers related to science and engineering fields.
Individual pre-registration is required.  Registration opened February 2 and is open until February 27, with most of the spots filling up within the first two or three weeks.
