CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION INFORMATION AND TRAINING
Senate Bill 379, “Child Abuse Training for School Employees, Parents, and Students” was passed into law in 2007. The law requires all school district and education service district employees to annually participate in child abuse prevention training.
While most citizens are not mandatory reporters, we all share a responsibility to prevent child abuse and protect children. All school district employees are mandatory reporters.
Child Abuse Identification, Prevention, and Reporting Training is provided for your information and meets the requirements under SB 379. Please click on the link above for an informational video.
Additional information on this subject is available in the document “What You Can Do About Child Abuse."
