Art at Jefferson
- Artist-in-Residence

- Claudia Hall is our Art teacher again for the 2007-2008 school
year. Each first-fifth grade classroom has art once a week for
forty-five minutes and each kindergarten classroom has art once a week
for thirty minutes. Claudia brings her specialized instruction to us, and some classroom teachers do
additional art projects in their own classrooms.

Jefferson
students have an entire art room/studio in which to work on their art
skills and where many of their art pieces are displayed. Additionally,
student art work has been exhibited at Papa’s Pizza, Sam’s
Station, the Jefferson Art/Science Night, and other school and
community events. If you have a local business that would welcome
student artwork for display, please contact Claudia Hall at 757-5951.
- Volunteer Opportunities
- Volunteers are welcome to participate in student art projects while
