JPAT Direct Donation Drive

Jefferson Parents’ And Teachers’ Association is a group of parents, teachers, staff, families and friends dedicated to the support of Jefferson Elementary School.

They believe family involvement is essential in helping a child grow to his or her fullest potential. Major areas of focus for JPAT are:

Enhancing the learning environment by providing financial support for art and literature, special projects and activities, and guest speakers
Recruiting volunteers to assist in school and community activities
Providing support, recognition, and appreciation to staff
Maintaining open communication between school and the home
Building community by sponsoring special school events and activities

A BIG THANK YOU!!!!! To the “Early Birds” who contributed to the Direct Donation Drive at last night’s barbecue! Here are the great results!

24 contributions qualified for the $50 match = $1,200
All contributions total = $3,665
Total raised at the Barbecue = $4,865

If you didn’t get the chance to contribute last night, do not fear! Beginning Monday, contribution forms and envelopes will be available in the school office through Dec. 31. And…in the next two weeks you will receive a very colorful mailing, explaining the Direct Donation Drive and containing the form. Remember, giving is as easy as a small monthly deduction from your debit card, credit card, or checking account.

We’re off to a great start…..let’s shoot for 90% participation among our families!
