GradeConnect Instructions Lincoln Middle School teachers will be using the on-line program called GradeConnect again this year. GradeConnect is a course management system that allows students and parents to see overall grades, scores on specific assignments, and what homework, tests or projects are missing or late. To access GradeConnect:
1) Go to www.gradeconnect.com 2) Click on the Student Login option 3) Type in your username and press tab Your username is your first name followed by your last name, up to 15 characters. For example: johnsmith. If your complete first and last name is more than 15 characters, only the first 15 are used. If your last name is hyphenated, only the characters before the hyphen are used. The username is not case sensitive. 4) Type in your password Your password has been set up as your last name, but must be at least 5 characters. If your last name is only 4 characters, then you must include a number one at the end (i.e., last1). If your last name is only 3 characters, the numbers 01 are added (i.e., las01). If your last name is hyphenated, only the first part of the name has been used as the password. See below for how to change your password so that only you can view your grades. 5) Click on the Login button 6) Select a course from the dropdown menu or by clicking on the Courses tab and selecting a course from the list 7) To view your grades, click on My Grades 8) Repeat steps 6 & 7 to see grades for other classes
Updating your Profile and Changing your Password 1) Click on the Your Account tab 2) Delete the email address that appears in this field and enter your email address 3) Enter your old password in the Password Information box 4) Enter a new password (5-20 characters) 5) Re-enter the new password to confirm 6) Click the Submit button 7) Log Out by clicking this option at the top of the screen 8) MOST IMPORTANT - Tell your teacher your new password! |
