Summit Projects (Service learning) 150 points

Each student will complete a project for the summit. The purpose of the project is to share information with the general public about the many projects and partners we have experienced here at Lincoln.

In small groups students will research and compile information for a tri-fold display.
    All sources of information will be cited in the proper format.            
    Pictures will be either taken by students, staff, community members, or parents. Pictures may also be used if they are cited properly or if students gain written permission for usage.
    All artwork must be original.

Grading
Information 50 points.
All spelling and punctuation must be perfect. Proper paragraphing required. All information must be accurate. Personal reflections, poems, and stories are highly encouraged. All citations in proper form.

Art 50 points.
Vibrant eye-catching colors. Balanced visual display. personal best effort.

Effort and Teamwork
Each student will be graded on their effort and ability to work with others. The teacher will assign one third of this grade. One third of the grade will come from the evaluation of their peers. One third of the grade will be in the form of a completed self reflection.

NO LATE PROJECTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The due date is the day of the Summit. April 26, 2007.
