Music students perform at OMEA Convention

A total of 41 student musicians from Corvallis' two middle and two high schools were chosen to perform with the 2010 Oregon Music Educators Association All-State Performing Ensembles at the recent OMEA convention at the Hult Center in Eugene.
The local students were chosen out of thousands across the state who submitted audition recordings. Middle School Honors Groups performed on Friday, Jan. 15 and the high school ensembles performed in an All-State Gala Concert on Sunday, Jan. 17.
