Linus Pauling Middle School Bibliographic Style

There are a number of variations of bibliographic style.  The following styles are those adopted for use by Linus Pauling Middle School.

General Information:

Bibliographies are divided into the following parts. Each part ends with a period.

    1. Author or Authors

    2. Title of article and or/title of book

    3. Place of publication, publisher, copyright date, volume, page(s) used.  For the place of publication, if there are several cities, states or countries listed, pick the location closest to you.  If you used or read the entire book omit the page numbers.

All entries are listed alphabetically by the first word. If the first word is a title, skip the words A, An, The to establish the order. The second line of an entry should be indented three space. (Because of varying screen space, we are unable to show the proper indentation for second lines.)
