School Philosophy:
We educate our children in a friendly and inviting school climate. Our focus is on...
Improving our students' skills and knowledge in reading, writing and mathematics. Developing and maintaining a well-articulated curriculum. Promoting responsible student behavior. Goals:
- We are currently focusing our efforts on ways to increase our students' learning in reading and mathematics.
- In 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, our students receive formal instruction in keyboarding using programmed keyboards and the computers in their classrooms. All of those computers include software which helps the students improve their typing speed and accuracy.
- We are planning our professional development work so that our teachers can work collaboratively as they undertake work that they find vital to working with their students.
- In conjunction with our counselor and our counseling assistant, we continue to maintain a school which all find safe and inviting.
