Assistant Superintendent Kevin Bogatin
Mr. Kevin Bogatin joined our district as Assistant Superintendent on July 1, 2010.
Mr. Bogatin graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education and received a Master’s degree in education administration from the University of Phoenix in 2000. He completed the continuing administrative licensure program at the University of Oregon in 2009.
Before joining the Corvallis School District, Mr. Bogatin served in the Lebanon, Oregon School District as principal of Green Acres Elementary School for six years, and as associate principal at Lebanon High School for one year. Previously, he was the principal of a private K-8 school in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and has five years teaching experience at elementary schools in Chandler, Arizona and Beaverton, Oregon.
He currently serves as the school district liaison to the Willamette Criminal Justice Council, the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis, and Leadership Corvallis. He also serves as the district’s key contact with the Oregon Department of Education. Away from the office, Kevin enjoys golfing, camping, and attending his children’s sports and music events. He has also officiated at high school and college basketball games for over twenty years. He and his wife, Cameo, have two children: Hannah, a sophomore at Southern Oregon University, and Eli, a middle schooler.
