Internet at School and Home

Instructional technology is necessary to make sure that all students have the opportunity to build the skills needed for the 21st century. Offering classroom technology addresses access for all student to an expanding source of digital curriculum and allows them to develop digital literacy within a safe digital environment.

Anytime, Anywhere Learning

Student tablets are configured for WiFi connectivity. WiFi is provided by the district in schools and classrooms where tablets are used. When applicable, students may link their tablet to networks at home or elsewhere; however, the District’s internet filter is in place, regardless of location.

Take home devices support extended learning opportunities for students that don’t have technology at home. It is not necessary to have home internet access to use this powerful tool. Books and learning apps may be downloaded at school and taken home for anytime, anywhere learning. When assigning homework, teachers are asked to always provide a paper-based option for their students.
