Memorial Day and other Important Dates

Corvallis public schools will be closed Monday, May 28 in observance of Memorial Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 29. The school district’s administrative offices will also be closed. The central office will reopen for business on Tuesday according to its regular hours, 8 am to 5 pm.

Other dates of note:

• June 7 for a graduation ceremony for students attending College Hill, the district’s alternative pathway program
• June 8 for Corvallis High School and Crescent Valley High School graduations
• June 15 is the last day of the school year and all schools will follow a two hour early release schedule

This year’s ceremonies are scheduled at staggered times to allow people to attend both school’s events. The CHS ceremony will begin at 5 pm at Gill Coliseum followed by CVHS at 7:30 pm in the school gymnasium.

The final school board meeting of the year will take place on June 21 at 6:30 pm. Agenda items will include adoption of the approved 2018-19 budget.
