Superintendent Ryan Noss has appointed nine individuals to serve on the new Theater Diversity Advisory Committee (TDAC.) This is a committee recruited from district staff, student representatives, community members, and alumni coming from underrepresented backgrounds and/or experience in anti-racist work to advise the theater department’s play selection, casting, and diversity and equity efforts
Committee members are Layah Carey, Naomi Hirsch, Adian Hsieh, Annie Neves, Josef Potts, Parker Schulze, Bernard Wang, Elisabeth(Liz) Wieland, and Melody Woothtakewahbitty.
The staff liaison for TDAC is Marcianne Rivero Koetje and annual report will be provided by Assistant Superintendent Melissa Harder. The committee will meet for the first time on June 14, 2021 to begin planning for the 2021-22 school year.
